John Roush II
John is a former U.S. Marine as well as a University of Kentucky graduate who found his way into the spirits industry in 2016. In 2017 he became Executive Bourbon Steward and obtained his WSET (Wine & Spirits Educational Trust) Level II for both Wines and Spirits. Since then he has worked with several of the industry's top bourbon brands, hosted numerous tasting events, and has worked to expand his bourbon knowledge in order to make sure he can give a truly amazing tasting event. Lately he has been working with local bars to develop a unique and delightful cocktail menu for their customers.
John Coffee IV
John Coffee IV is the CEO of Beyond the Barrel, a bespoke service company focused on private bourbon experiences, events, and education. He is founder of the Lexington Bourbon Academy and known for his current roles as the President of the Kentucky Bourbon Influencers, Advisory Board and a Founding Member of the Lexington Bourbon Society, Executive Bourbon Steward In Residence for Chef Ouita Michel and Co-Host of the YouTube Channel - Let's Talk Bourbon. Previously, he held the position as Brand Ambassador for Rabbit Hole Distilling. John is a professional bourbon educator and a certified, Enterprise level Executive Bourbon Steward, recognized by the KDA. You may have seen him around town standing in line next to you for limited release bourbons, planning and organizing bourbon events and tastings. On any given day, he is proud to delve into the mysteries of bourbon lore, share a pour, or embark on adventures throughout the Bluegrass.
Rabbi Chaim Litvin
Rabbi Chaim Litvin, the Bourbon Rabbi is a renowned and respected kosher expert with nearly 2 decades in the Bourbon industry.
The Bourbon Rabbi has been prominently featured in numerous publications, including the front page of The Wall Street Journal and the permanent bourbon exhibit at The Frazier History and Arms Museum.
